Our bodies need essential proteins, fats, vitamins, water intake, carbohydrates just to function on a daily basis. Balance of all these things help stimulate you body to work at a high, productive function.
Carbohydrates are stored only in limited quantities. Our bodies use these as energy. The body breaks down these carbs and is converted to glucose—that can be absorbed through the small intestine’s walls.
Protein is used to fuel the body, but not alone, and when it does do this alone, it is usually under conditions of starvation. Interestingly, when no carbohydrate is present in the diet, the body will use the amino acid backbones of protein to form glucose (a carbohydrate) in order to supply the brain with adequate energy. Protein is essential for the brain. Especially after a work out, it can help refuel the body and for our muscles to be able to function at top levels again.
Fats can provide more than half of the body’s energy needs. Fat from food is broken down into fatty acids, which can travel in the blood and be captured by cells.
Vitamins – Your body is constantly building and repairing muscle, skin, cells, etc. To do all this, your body requires some raw materials. These include at least 30 vitamins, minerals, and dietary components that your body needs but cannot manufacture on its own in sufficient amounts.
Vitamins and minerals are considered essential nutrients—because acting in concert, they perform hundreds of roles in the body. They help shore up bones, heal wounds, and bolster your immune system. They also convert food into energy, and repair cellular damage. You can get a lot of these vitamins and minerals from the foods we eat, but its hard to get enough. Adding a good multivitamin into your diet is essential to help ensure our bodies get enough.
Water intake is essential to run our bodies. Water consumption plays an important role for the digestion of solid foods in the body. Drinking water can help the flow of water in the body and help keep blood circulation going. Water consumption also helps metabolize fat. Water Consumption helps with the protection of movement of joints, and other organs and tissues in the body. Water consumption is crucial to a healthy lifestyle. Without water our bodies could easily begin to shut down.
